UMANN is an independent company, founded in 2003.

Present on the international scene, we follow our clients on major infrastructure projects across the world. Over 25 large sites (airports, tramways, metro networks,…) around the world are equipped with our OpenGate and OpenWay passenger information systems. We have increased our presence in India and in the Middle East over the last few years, with a commercial presence as well as After-Sales Support facilities.
The Umann Passenger Information Systems meet material requirements, as well as software and normative aspects of large international projects. The technological solutions of our Systems cover all of the information functions required (Public Announcements, information provided at boarding gates or on train platforms, on mobile and tablet applications, safety and evacuation).

UMANN is also a complete technology solutions integrator, equipment (sound racks, servers, workstations, TFT/LED monitors, HP,...) and software.

UMANN achieves over 80 % of its turnover in the form of exports and our challenge for the coming years is to deploy on smaller projects in France, and in North America with the opening of our new offices in Montreal, Canada.

Our teams of developers, integrators, trainers and our maintenance staff are based in the north of France, in Lille and Paris.

UMANN’s IT brick is integrated into as well as complements a series of functions (Information, communication, security, evacuation,…) UMANN is often led to propose offers based on complete solutions, both software and hardware (sound racks, servers, monitors, loud-speakers,…)

A team of integrators is dedicated to this activity, to implementation and to training of operators.
